Ben Wolf and I created in Portland, OR, then re-created this sculpture in Oakland, CA after scouring the lands for abandoned freight trains and tug boats. We re-welded and wove the wreckages into a structure of discovery and wonder, scattered it with pieces of ephemera from the adventure, and wheat paste Artist/collaborator Swoon adorned it with her paper cuts.
